This has been one of the longest days. We got the kids to the hospital at 7:30. Erica & Brian were there with Grampy @ 5:30. She was to be in surgery at 7:30 (she was a c-section)but, life happens and guess what! At 1:15 Elizabeth was born. She is just adorable. I can't wait to show you all pics.
She is 8lbs 12 oz & 20 3/4" long. a big cute round baby. Erica looked great. She was having such an easy time. Elizabeth was already nursing & we are all happy about that.
So, I am an Aunt again. As soon as I got to hold her. I bawled like a baby. This is my namesake. She is my last neice & I am so happy to have finally met her.
I am very tired and can't wait to get to bed. Being away from my hubby is very hard. To be honest I have so much more compation for miltary wives. They are a lot further away from the ones they love.
I will be posting pics and a date for the cards for troops as soon as I get home.
I miss everyone..
