Breast Cancer Sucks!

I'm not afraid to say it.  Cancer sucks.  My like a mom Linda, is a survivor.  I am often in awe of her strength.  She gives all that credit to Jesus, but I have a feeling He's pretty proud of her and the way she fought this crappy disease and won.  God, thank you for looking after our Nana, and thank you for healing her.  This card is for a women I know who is fighting her battle now.  God, protect our sister as she fights back!

This card was made last week when my mother in law was here visiting.  We saw it in a papercrafts magazine.  She insisted we make it, so I found some supplies and we whipped it up.  I love that in card making you can figure out share and have fun with people you love and people who drive you nuts wanting to make a card you don't have the stamps for ;)  HI uma!  lol

Happy Birthday to meee!

Well today is my birthday.  I'm not afraid to tell you how old I am..not me..I won't like I'm 29...ROFL..NOT.  But, who really counts after that anyway??  Today I will share a cute little card.  I really like the punch I used it's pretty fun.  

We'll here is to another great year of being 29 =)

I used copic markers for her dress and stuff, I just swiped it up and down to give the pattern.  Kinda looks hippie ish...is that a word kinda like funkadelic...hmmm  I'll have to google that...see ya!

This little company...

I took the plunge.  My very dear friend Sue, has been my demo for years, she asked me if I'd like to be a demo for this company too...can you guess what it is?

I'm pretty excited, and nervous.  I don't want to let her down.  I am going to have an open house in November, woo hooo.    Tomorrow I'll have another card!

Paper Makeup Stamps...Oh My

I happen to have found this little site called..PAPER MAKEUP STAMPS.  I instantly fell in love, I love the goofy, silly, creative, cute, awesome stamps that they have.  I of course ordered a few (Yes just a few) geesh.  I also sent the owner a note telling her that her stamps are by far  some of the neatest I've seen.  Sometimes I like weird stuff and some of her images are just not the norm (in a very cool way).  See this card, hellooooo does this not have me written all over it.  Tomorrow I'll show you another.  Fantastic co.  the shipping was fast, and I got a little free stamp with it.  I always love free.

Yesterday my husband & I went to a wedding.  This is the card I made for that wedding.

I know the kids have been back in school for like forever.....or at least a few weeks.  I made this card for my niece & nephew, and forgot to send it.  DUH!

I think I'll send it now just as a hello keep up the good work card.

One more halloween card this week.  Then I'll do something elese..OKAY?  I used the martha punch for the little boarder and just some SU paper and google eyes.  I really enjoy this set, I borrowed it from my demo Sue.

I know...vampires should sparkle.

When I was finished with this card, I was tempted to sprinkly a little sparkle on him.  BUT, since he's no Edward I skipped the sparkle.  HEEE HEE HEE.

I used an old SU set for this card, I had all these papers from last year, the ribbon is new and from m's.  I like it.  I colored w. Copics.

This Stampin' Up set is a very good set to have.  I happen to love the images in it.  We made this card at Sue's house the other day.  She's my demo.  Last week she asked me if I'd like to become a demo.  I think I may give it a try.  I love the quality of the products.  The only thing is, I love copics.  So, we'll see how it goes.

A muse Birthday!

  I have to admit I really enjoy these little girls from amuse.  I have about three of them, and that is really not enough.  They are simple little girls and I like that because you can add nice little accents.

having a dog is...

...We'll I don't have any pets, my children are work enough. BUT, this week my in laws are here visiting.  They brought thier 10 mnt old airdale terrrior Hayley Mills with them.  Well, It's fun they look at you with sad eyes when you eat.  They like to growl and jump and play in the rain.  I think I'd like one.  NO, I'm not getting one, but it's not to bad after all.

Butterflies all over.

We went to the beach, and let me just tell you every where you looked there were monarch butterflies.  I could not believe it.  The year Vanessa died, there were tons too.  Reminds me of her and always will. I got this shot and thought I'd share it!

For at least a little while.

Hey folks, I have my in-laws or as I'd like to call them out laws here for about 10 more days.  While they are here I'll be stealing her laptop to down load a ton of card pics, hopefully enough to keep me going till the new pc gets here.  

Today was our first full day with my mil since 2009.  We went to the beach with the puppy.  I took this pic of the lighthouse.

There were tons and tons of butterflies.  Were going back tomorrow for critterfest hopefully there will be more shots of them.  I'll post that one later, I need to edit.
