Friends of Unity June Masculine card hop!

With Fathers day just a few days away,  This challenge was perfect.   Masculine cards can be hard for a lot of us card makers, I don't know why but it is.   I went super simple with this car image.  Images like this make masculine cards super easy.  Can be used for Birthday or Fathers day!  I hope this Hop inspires you to send cards to those men in your life.

For my second card I used these moths from Junes kit of month.    Minimal colors are needed and the images are simple.   For masculine cards I tend to be more simple.

Car stamp is from set called  Good Ole Days!  I simply colored it with muted colors, the water colors are Karin markers.

The moths were colored simply with copic markers.

Thats all I have for this time.  I hope you enjoy the hop.  Please leave a comment so we know your here!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Crafting,

Love your cards, Dawn! We both used the Good Ol' Days... love your color choice for the car! And I never would have used the moths for a guy card but it totally works and I love it!

These are definately perfect for masculine cards. The muted colors are interestingly gorgeous, I need to try this. The car is a terrific image! The moths made me laugh.... I made hubby a card with insects on it and he said. "Very nice card, thank you, but I have to ask... am I bugging you too much?" lol. Next card I got was a Happy "Moth"ers Day card from our dog. Tee hee. Great cards!

You did a fine job with this month's masculine theme. Both cards are wonderfully made and will be appreciated by those who receive them.

Your cards are so awesome. The car card is really cool with the wash of yellow. It is great for a masculine card and for all!

Great cards! I especially love the car card - it makes me think of my dad. I don't often need to make masculine cards, but these are both great examples!

I don't know why so many of us have problems with masculine cards either, but it may be because we don't make many of them and aren't used to it. I love your designs, especially the car!
