Merry Christmas....(a little late)

Merry Christmas, Okay I know Christmas was like a week ago, but I have been really busy.

Not only did the pc crash, and I had lost the mojo, I had shopping, wrapping, visiting, cleaning etc.. etc..

I had a very nice Christmas, the boys had a great time, and even dh was happy. Can't beat it!

I have some good pics of Christmas to post, actually got a nice one of myself.

I miss blogging and will be back tomorrow with pics.

Wow, I can not believe that Santa, is coming tonight! It's just so cool. What do you think he'll bring, do you think he'll like my cookies?

I wonder if Santa, will bring my sons what they asked for? I wonder if he'll remember me?

Last night at about 11:30 I finished my wrapping, I don't have to wrap anything today..woohooo, I can not remember the last time I had that done before Christmas eve. How cool, I am happy to just be able to enjoy today.

I do need to vacuum, mop & spot clean the boys bathroom, but that is no biggie. Quick clean up, nothing to major. At about 1ish, we are heading to the in laws, for Christmas eve dinner. This will most likely be our last Christmas with them, since they plan to move to Kansas City, about 20 hours away from us!

I can't wait to see what Santa, brings.

What do you mean, I don't have another week??

Ohh, I can not believe how fast this month has gone. I can't believe that it's almost Christmas...ack!

Today, I am off from work, so I gotta run get my paycheck and head to the the mall to finish my shopping. The only thing that I don't like about not having money or cc at the holidays is, I have to wait to get paid to shop..LOL, but hey it's all paid off, and I can't overspend!

I have a lot to do, I am sorry for the lack of blogging for those of you who actually read, my counter has not really moved so, I think everyone is mia this time of year!

My sister is in town, and I have a lot to say about that, and hopefully a card to share, when the pc crashed and I lost everything I am a little afraid to start uploading again, and cards have been not existent for a while now!

Christmas Diva tag!

The task this week at one little spark was to design a tag! NO problem, I had just what I wanted to do, see tomorrow is my Christmas party at work, and my gift is going to my friend who asked for alcohol, so I did this diva tag with the ingredients on the back for a drink and all the makings inside this pretty basket!

Stamp is Bella, and the words are from the cricut! I can't get a better pic, it's already in the gift and I am not opening it!

I am going to get a light box and a editing program after Christmas. Sorry, about the bad pic.

The great illness of '08

It all started last Wed, when I got a call at work asking if I could come get the little guy. He was feeling icky! So, I left work and headed to get him. When I got there he was in the bathroom and fell into my arms, he was you know sick....Oh, the poor guy. I changed sheets about 3 times that night and slept poorly.

So, one down 5 to go! The next day it was I, so wed night thursday friday ds#3.

Sunday My mother Today my Husband. Everyone has been sick except ds#1, and since he's bff is home from school, I hope they both don't get it. (they have been here since he got off the plane)

The crash of '08

Well Bloggers, It happened every computer persons worst nightmare. The crash...ohhh the horror! It happened it threw my little world for a loop. I am not trying to sound super pathetic but, all my friends are in this little pc. I don't know many stampers IRL, so this is my connection to the crafty world, with IM, BLOGS, and 2pp's I can catch up, get ideas etc...So, when my computer crashed my world did too! What happened I am not sure, I called dell support and after 4 hours of trying to reload the errors that were missing, the young fellow in INDIA, said the only thing we can do is restore, so restore we did. I lost it all, my cards, my pics, my blogs, my everything. I had uploaded pics for a weeks worth of blog posts, my itunes is also gone!

I know I can re find most of it, I can't get google reader, I can't find it, so if you have a link please send it to me, I also can't find yahoo messenger, it's not anywhere I can see, and the pc is still acting wonky. Hopefully, this year we can upgrade, this is a basic pc, with dial up, so it's pretty old and slow (04)!

I am upset about the pics, luckily a lot of the ones, with Vanessa I have on disc, but a lot I did not! I do have the Disney pics, and that is really good! I don't want to reload my ITUNES, I am afraid it will still crash again, and I just don't know what to do!

I guess I'll try to upload a few pics, but Not sure if the pc will do it! It look so vintage...lOl. It was not letting me in to my hotmail, and now that is fixed, so bare with me while I get back to normal.

If there is a blog, store, etc. that you think I would like please send me links, so I can build back up my favorites!

Wahhhhhh, I saw a backup on QVC last night, a day late and a dollar short, has new meaning!

Christmas, is just around the corner, the tree went up yesterday, and it looks gorgeous, I love the look of a big tree in the living room, I don't even mind that it takes up half the room!!!!

I got a lot of shopping done, for the youngest. The two older boys, mostly have things I need to get from the mall area! So, I have a lot to do also!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

ACK, can you believe it's not full swing into the holiday season? I sure can't. My house is such a huge mess, well it's getting better now. We are decorating today, ahhhhhh the mess gets so bad before it starts to look pretty again. I just have to finish the bathroom and kitchen and I'll be done! I really want to start my Christmas cards tomorrow, so if I can get all the work done today I hope to do that. I'll get something creative posted tomorrow!

Happy Thanksgiving, I can't believe it's turkey day already. Seems like the year went at super sonic speed! Tomorrow, I'll be decorating for CHRISTMAS!!! I just can't get over that it's turkey day!

I have been MIA from bloggin, but this week and this month should be good, lots to show and talk about it.

So, now what I am thankful for....Family, health, and creative fun! My job, and my home!

Oh, where Oh where have I been??

Geesh, I thought I was on here a day ago, guess not! I have had a crazy week, work, work, work parent teacher conferences were this week along with the book fair. Friday, I had another chocolate party and Yesterday dh & I actually went Christmas shopping. Yesterday was one of those nice days. I read a little, (Kids were out) Dh & I had lunch out and we shopped. WoW, what a great day!

Ds#3 spent the night at his Uma's house, so I got up today at dum dum dum......9:30 Can you believe it? I can't I was shocked! Felt good to sleep past 6:30.

Today, we played catch up and I am still doing laundry. In-laws were here again for dinner and now I am here at 8pm, trying very hard to figure out how to clear my desk so I can work on Christmas cards! UGH, this week went fast. I only work three days this week, so we shall see how it goes!

My son is 18, what????

I can not believe that my first born child is 18 years old today. Wow, did that go fast! This morning when I woke him up for school, I sang of course happy birthday like I do every year. He's response was, wow, I 'm 18 does that mean I don't have to go to school? NOT Nice try Kenny!

Tonight his dinner request was bbq ribs. So, we had that I gave him some hard cash (just what every teen wants) and some clothes (what every teen needs) We were supposed to go out this weekend, but he told me his buddies are taking him bowling. Well, Hey I know I would rather hang with the gang than this cooky family, so I told him we could do breakfast if he wanted! We'll see.

I told him that his future is now in his hands, and that he has to make choices for himself, but he still has to make curfew...LOL I also told him I still wake him up in the am. (I guess some things will never change!)

One down, two to go! LOL.....Well, lets see 10 years left for the one and how many for that mouthy pre teen??????? I do love my boys!!!!!

I have been really neglecting my blog, sorry life was a bit busy with getting ready for my class! If you know me you know I am not afraid to talk, I have no problem with that part of teaching. My problem is will they like the projects, will I forget something...etc..etc.

Well, they liked the class (all 3 people...lol) well actually I had 4 but, my mom really can't say it stunk now can she? I did not really take any pics, so I stole these pics from my mom's blog!




That is me in the all black and the tall chair! Pat, the owner is in the red sweater! I really think the class went well, everyone stayed busy and the projects flowed together! No one, was really sitting idle while others waited and that was nice. The one student was brand new to stamping, I think we may have another addict! lol
So, now that all that stuff is finished, I can work on other things...WOoo HOoo.
My next class in in January (weather permitting) and I'll be doing Arches, Atc & twinchies OH MY!!

Another class card!

Okay, I am NOT nervous about teaching. That part is easy for me. Well, I am pretty outgoing, and have spoken in front of lots of people. NO biggie...Well, I have to go up early and finish cutting the basic grey paper. It is in the store along with all the stamps and supplies we will be using in the class! WOo HOo, don't you love it when stores make sure stuff is in stock. Pat, is working very hard, and very fast at keeping the store stocked. NO easy task I am sure!



Now, this card is with Elzybell & basic grey paper, this is last years paper and the brad is from su, in the actual class we will be using this years products..! wooo hoooo

Winter stamp class!!!

On November 15, I'll be teaching a card class at One little spark. I am really going crazy with this class. I tried to keep it more simple for new stampers, but fun for us oldies!

These are two sneak peaks of the 5 projects we will be making that day. We will be using prisma pencils with baby oil, and will be also making a pretty clear card! Fun Fun!!

After the holidays, I'll be doing what I am supposed to be doing...Altered class! lol The next class will be Arches, atc's & twinchies oh my!!!!! We will be doing a Gothic arch an atc & a altered card with twinchies on it. (A twinchie is a two x two pc of art) Sound fun?? I am also sorry about the pics, after Christmas I am gonna pick up a light box. It's not a good picture day here! Hope to see someone at the class...Wink Wink!!

TinkerBella!!

This is one of the stamps Lisa, at my work got me. (She knows how to shop, let me tell you!!!)

I used it to make thank you cards for all the girls at the office! I used liquid pearls on her skirt, then covered it with stickles, that made for a really neat look. I colored using prisma pencils and baby oil. (I'll be using this in my card class coming up at the one little spark shop)

Card for Heroes!

I need to take pics tonight and upload so, I just wanted to check in. My goal is to make 100 Christmas cards for our heroes! I have 36 more to do. I did cheat and put in a few non holiday cards. But you can only do so many Christmas cards in October...LOL

I just have to share this little story! My mom (pat), had to go to her boss's wedding yesterday. He's got more money than he knows what to do with. (I could think of a few things he could spend it on...lol) anyway, she kept saying what do you get someone that has it all? I said to her. "well, give a donation to cards for heroes in his name". DING DING DING!!! What a great idea. If you have that someone on your list donate money in their honor. So, that is what she is doing, she put the brochure in the card along with the amount she donated.! She was telling her other friend about it, and they now want to donate too! SO, hopefully that will help Sandy, out with Holiday shipping!

So, that is it for today, I think I'll take a little nap before work! (Yawn)

I'll have creative stuff to share this week! Today was all about HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. Took ds#2 to see it, it was good I actually liked it. I can see him one day when he is my age thinking on his youth like we do with grease or flash dance. LOL

I also got myself into another good book. The secret life of bees, was a great book. I had to finish it. Read it in a few days! It's super good. Think I may have to see the movie now!

So, dinner is cooking and tonight I plan to pump out more cards for heroes cards!

Finally, the last of the cards I did at wcmd. This was a fun card. I like the new BIG stamps from su. They are really nice! I guess I need to place an order!

Easy Peasy Christmas card!

Yet another card from WCMD, sorry I am playing catch up, since I took a little blog break!

This card is super easy, it's simple yet cute. You need square punch and some ribbon. What a quick and easy way to make cards for heroes!! HINT HINT!

I'll share more about that soon. I have about 30 cards going and need to do about 70 more, hopefully this weekend I can get that done!

Thanks to all my friends who thought of me on my special day. When I turned 30 I hit a bad point in my life, I guess since NO ONE showed up to my surprise party..surprise to me. I plan to break that funk this year, heck it's been 5 years It's time to move on don't you think...lol

So, I am gonna try to forgive the hurts this year, count the blessings and move on! Good idea...YUP!!! Easier said then done, so if you pray, pray that I can live in the now instead of in the hurts of the past. That is my goal for this year. I know I can pray my way into a better me! and with the help of my friends, my stamps, My God, and my family I can do it!!!!

Owl candy holder!

One of the other projects we did with all punches is this adorable owl, candy holder. Does he not look like an old man owl. Love it! That is all for today, wow, I am not chatty today! He is more brown in real life.

Cutest little project!

Ohh, This week went super uber fast. I had meetings and work and lots of other crazy things goin' on! UGH...SO, I have had little time to create. Well, until yesterday, my demo and good friend Sue, had an open house for World card making day, she had 17 projects and food, and snacks and cake & candy & it was such a blast.

I just love this project, it's super easy, and I just adore the way they turned out! This is done with all su products, (except her earrings & nose ring) Of course I wanted my girl to be a bit punk, and she does look it, he looks like a shaggy beetle to me, you know as in Abby road beetle, not bug beetle!

Why I love My wii!

This is the only time I can talk smack on my dad, I am a lover of boxing, and when I got the wii it came with wii sports and with wii sports is boxing, my favorite game on the wii so far. Just love boxing!!! Well, once I got the wii dad followed. Well, ever since then I told him HE could NOT beat me at boxing, and kept egging him on! Oh, did I have fun telling him he was gonna be beat up by little ole me! bwahhahahahaha!

When I found out they were comming down on the 5th (Sunday) I really had to pump it up, by typing get ready to rumble to my mom over im, and funny stuff like that! On Sunday, I actually said a bad word in front of my dad, when I told him I was gonna open a can of Whip A$$!!!! He wanted to get the soap!! ROFL, (this is the guy that chased me through the house with pliers trying to pull out my tounge ring years ago!) I never knew my real dad, he died when I was 20, and I still never met him. Gene & LInda have been in my life for over 10 years now, going on 12 I think. You would never ever know that I was not raised by these two....We are a lot alike...LOL Not, only that but I can't imagine my life with out them. I asked my real mom once if she cared or was upset with our relationship, and she said no that they give me something she can't and when she lived far away they supported me not only spirtualy but in many other ways, dad & Sis (erica) taught me how to drive...Oh what fun that was at 25...LOL

anyway, to get back on subject. I BEAT THE PANTS OF THE OLD MAN!!!!! He said he controller was not working so we switched and I STILL BEAT THE PANTS OF THE OLD MAN!!!! ROFL...



Here are a few pics of the fun! Now, he brought some of his games and my mother in law (Cate) and my Mum (linda) played this game where you ride on cows and jump hurdles, I hav not laughed so hard in a longggg time, it was the funniest thing ever. You can see by the look on there faces below they were having a blast!

My dad (gene)'s birthday is the day before mine, so since they will be in nashville visiting my sister and her children (Hi guys) We had cake on Sunday, well loooow in behold I got wii fit, now it's half birthday and half a Christmas gift, so, I am only aloud to play half of it..Just kidding. I love it, I have been on it every day now, since SUnday. It's so much fun. I am sore, but hey I am active and hopefully loosing weight. The bad thing is watching your little mii get fat..>UgH!



So, while we played my hubby & dad in law, peeled potatoes. There was a lot of abuse being thrown at them, they are not the best peelers, but the meal was wonderful, hot roast beef, fresh hot rolls, mashed taters MMMMMMmmm good!

What a Sunday!!!

What a nice Sunday, we had here at my house! While the men went and hit some golf balls at the range, the women stayed here and made cards for heroes, for Christmas. We made 20 cards. WOW, in about 2 hours, that is pretty good. Once we got going it went fast, next time I'll have it all ready where we can cut, glue etc...

Gothic Arch Turquoise challenge!

HAPPY WORLD CARD MAKING DAY & SOF!!!!!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!



I am so hyper this am, wonder if it's the diet Pop??? Today is world card making day. What a great way to celebrate our love for all things inky!

I had a great Friday, My dh & I took the drive up to tuckerton to see the new stamp store that is opening On OCTOBER 18, I'll be there bright and early with hopefully a van full of stampers!

Her shop is adorable, it's colorful, and classy. I can't wait to see it fill up! The first thing that caught my eye was something I have been wanting for a while.....Wonder what it is? Well, lets see it's BIG, it's Red and it's not Clifford the big red dog..



I got an atg gun..wooo hooo, Okay now don't let the price scare you, I did a little calculation. The gun is very costly, but in the long run you save a ton of money. Right now I pay 2.99 for 18 yards. with the atg you pay about 1.19-2.00 for 36 yards. You do the math. I think it's a better deal, and personally for me the waste is a LOT less, only one small pc of plastic to throw out, and for me that is important.

I also got some stamps, I just had to they were calling my name. I got the new pink cat studio winter kitty stamps. I am making some samples for her shop. This card will be in her shop, and for me that is kinda like a dream come true. I have always wanted to be published, and well this is a step, right?

Lets see what Else. The week was uber busy. I have had not time for anything. I am trying to do laundry, clean & work on sof stuff. Sof, is over at 2pp's and is in full swing, go over and check it out!

Oh, and tomorrow my MOM & DAD are coming down for a visit. They are not my real parents, but to me they are about the best thing in the world. I never knew my real dad, so Gene Is the closet thing to a real father I have ever had. (other than Jesus) NANA, is one of the kindest most beautiful women I have ever met in my whole life. She welcomed me and my children in to her home when I was a single mom. I am gonna start to cry so enough about that. SO, she and I are going to be making Christmas cards for the heroes, while Dad takes ds#2 to the golf course. Should be a wonderful day, My mother in law is coming over too, and after all that we are all gonna have Sunday dinner, roast beef, mashed taters and a yummy veggie, with cake and ice cream for dessert...(Erica, don't you wish you were here now...LOL)



I miss my sister, this week has been a little hard for me. Erica, followed Gods lead and moved her family to Nashville, it's been a struggle for me to see her leave, and I know it's where she belongs, I was not sure for a very long time about her choice, but now knowing it was Gods' will has made that easier. Okay, here are my pics.....Enjoy your day!

You probably can't see the words on this card, it says Live {life} to the fullest. Love that, not that I am a go getter and I don't really grab life by the horns, but it's a great saying none the less...lol

I have not used the watercolor technique in a while, but I do love it. You take your image color it with markers them spritz with water, it is really fun to do, This card is very soft in real life. I am still trying to find a good way to take pics. This new method is not working either...ugh..

Fluffles in The house!!

Ahh, I have always thought these little guys were so cute. My M's finally got new stamps. (after about 4 years) The have a few of the fluffles, and I just had to have at least one! lol

I stamped this full fluffle, and colored with prisma/baby oil combo! I used some paper from a k&co. Kit, and a prisma flower.

I have a huge mess to clean up. When I have a bit of creative juice, the desk turns to major disaster! I had to take a few and set up all the fall decorations today. Hello, It's the official first day of fall! Now, I am gonna clean the desk then head to work! wahhhhh

This weeks theme over at GA, is favorite movie. Well, as soon as I read that I knew exactly what to get out! I used the Lion (Aslan) from a Tim holtz set I never used. I took some su letters and made the work Narnia, added a key and some dcwv pp. Easy Peasy....I would have liked something from the movie, like the wardrobe, but I don't own that stamp yet... Thinking of you!

This card was super simple, I used brown ribbon and some pattern paper I had. Not sure of the name. It's nice to have some of these cards on hand for those, gotta send something moments!

This is actually the first Bella, I ever bought. I am lovin' her. I am using her and the new inkadinkado, rock clear stamps to make some rockin' cards for cfh. Of course some are for my own use.

I colored with prisma papers, and used stickles on the geetar(guitar) and the R in rock. I also used that cool felt star boarder from Kaiser craft.

One of those cards!

I don't know why, but I once in a blue moon make a card, that just is pretty to me. This is one of them. It's a su, stamp and the ribbon is from paper parachutes! I took the dragonfly and added a little outline and the glitter! the black in the background is some random rubons from basic grey!

Halloween card!

This card was used with another dollar stamp & last years k&co paper...(gasp)!

Today is football, football, football!!! Gotta leave here at 12:30 and don't know when we'll be back again! (hopefully the game won't be more than 2 hours!) We have a bbq here at the house, dh invited his friends and his parents, so it's gonna be me & my mother in law hangin' tonight!Have a happy Saturday!

Bella rocks!

I love the Bella stamps, you all know this. And this card is one using the rock n roll Bella.

I put her on vellum, but the look is not what I thought. It's okay, not the best!

Today, is Friday whooo Hoooo. I am off today, and have much to do around the house! (as always)!

Hope to chat more tomorrow, have football tomorrow, so I am sure I'll have lots to talk about.

Ds#2 had a scrimmage on wed, made two touchdowns, of course I have missed every touchdown, so hopefully at the real game he'll do the same!

I will never forget!

I don't think that there is an American, that does not know exactly what they were doin' on September 11, 2001. I had several friends, patients who lived or worked in New York & I have found memories of New York City. I love New York City. I will never forget the first time I was there.

Today, I remember my son, and his reaction (he was in 5th grade). I will remember those who fought to keep us safe. I will remember the fears of everyone here on the east coast.

I will remember the lives lost, the families hurt.

May you take one moment today to reflect and remember those events and how they have changes some of us forever!
