 Today I thought I would share a tutorial on how to make  gorgeous water color flowers!  I can tell you that they are honestly very addicting and I love making them!

Water color flower tutorial!

you will need the following items:

1. RE INKERS 2. SPRITZ BOTTLE 3. SCISSORS 4. TRAY OR LID FOR INKS 5. VERSA MARK 6. WHITE EMBOSING POWDER (OR GOLD, SILVER) 7. HEAT GUN  8. SU SHIMMER WHITE CARD STOCK  (A MUST, FOR THE TUTORIAL I USED GP, FROM WALMART AND IT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY) 

***I am not a su demo, but will give you the order #'s and a contact incase you need one at the end***

First stamp you image with versamark, sprinkle the EP over the image.  Heat set, you may do several at one time as I did here!

After your image is is heat set, give it a rought cut out, this does NOT need to be detailed or perfect.

Now for the fun!

You will want to add a few drops of several re-inkers in  your tray (or whatever u use)

you can use several colors, I've used up to 3 and 4, but play and have fun. 

*now, the reason I use the SU shimmer white, is because the water beads on it, and it stays nice.  I tried for this to use the GP, from walmart, and it did not work.  Please invest in the good paper, you won't regret it.*

Sprtz your paper well, leaving puddles of water on the image.  You'll see lots of puddles and this is good!!

Take your brush, (i used this pen, and some of the ink sucked inside, I would not use a water pen, but a brush) Dip it into your ink and lightly touch your water spots, I tend to go with one color on a few spots, and then with the others around.  play with it, you will be shocked at what you see.  at the end we dumped all the extra ink on one flower and the result was stunning...stunning ...stunning

****as you can see in the picture the water is soaking in this will NOT do that with the the su paper, I am sorry I ran out, and was not able to show you the proper way, your ink will be all puddled up and that is what you want*****

******the final image will be all puddled and not soaked in like in this picture again sorry!*****

Let dry and cut out and use on cards, scrap book pages.  you can also use vellum on this project for a curled look that is fantastic!!!

On my card, I used the real flower with the proper paper, you can see the difference..

soot stamping!

Do you wonder what soot stamping is? I did, and now that I know what it is I think I'll do it more than twice. I saw a video on Gina K TV. She showed a simple way to use up some glossy paper.

This is my try of it, I did not catch anything on fire!

Supplies, Candle, glossy paper, card stock, thick lined stamp, sticker, flower and a button!

Shaving cream, some ink &...

Well, I don't know if anyone has played with this. It's actually a really fun technique. I found it in a book, and I know people have talked about it.





Shaving cream some ink, and you get to have a bit of fun.





What you will need:





Shaving cream (any kind, any scent)





Ink refills. (As many or as little as you would like.)





card stock





cardboard (old stuff from box etc)





shallow pan.








First you take you pan and add your shaving cream. (the creamy kind) Spread it out in the pan. You may want to use a spatula or old credit card.





Add drops of ink onto it. Random here and there. I used three colors at first.





Then take a knife or something. (I used a wooded skewer) make lines like you would for a marble cake.





lay your card stock over and life up. Take cardboard and run over the card stock pulling the ink down.





that is it. blot & let dry.





Now, what Else we did was take the skewer and make circles added a 4th color and wow wow!! IT turned out really really cool. My mom and I were oooooooing & ahhhhing with each life. Now with the ones that were swirls, what we did was kind of blot not using the cardboard to smooth.





here are what they looked like. I am going to create a card to share with the pcs. They are now dry and ready to go.!

Easy & Quick Scrap Cards w/ instructions

Now again on Saturday Ms. Sue taught this card. What an easy was to you some of those scraps. I love the idea now this opens different and you can do a lot with this.

Base Cardstock: 4" x 9" (Score @ 5-1/2")

Designer Paper Scrap: 3"x 4"

Contrasting Scrap: 1-1/2 x4"

Inside inset: 3-3/4x 3-3/4

Punches used: 1-3/8" & 1-1/4" round

flower in center was also a su punch you could use prima's or a button etc...

The Idea of this card is to USE SCRAPS... DO NOT use a full sheet. this is a great little card to make and send a nice little letter to a friend.

Pearl Ex Card w/ instructions

I must say I don't know who came up with this idea. I don't own it I did'nt think of it. I took it at my stamp club yesterday by Sue Selfridge. I thought would share it here.













You will need:
Cardstock.
Elmers glue or =
Pear ex
a duster
heat gun & heat safe mat.
adhesive of your choice
clear matt spray sealer.
Black ink pad
stamp of your choice to fit in small square.
6 -brads

First cut out all your pieces.

The following pieces are white:
Base card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
3x3
1 1/2 x 1 1/2

The following are in black:
5 1/4 x 4
2 3/4x 2 3/4
1 3/4x 1 3/4

set all your pieces aside and keep out your 2 3/4 piece of black cardstock out.

cover it with elmers glue. don't over do it but you want it completely covered





then cover your whole piece with pearl x. you must have every inch covered. use a spoon or toothpick. If you get clumps it's okay. You may need to shake it around. it will look like a mess. take a light brush and kinda brush all the clumps away it will now be flat. If you have any raised areas they will be more textured. If you like the textured look don't really brush much off..


tap it lightly to get off any exta. Take your heat gun to it. (Do this on a heat safe thing)


Be carefull it get's HOT. the thicker the glue the more it will bubble. If your glue is thin it won't bubble at all. Your just drying the glue. DOes not take long.




after it cools take it out and spray with the adhesive sealer.

then all you do is matt and attach your pieces. place three brads to either side and done. that simple.
