Tuesday's post!

Good Tuesday,

I am writing this on Sunday, so I have no idea what kind of day today is..lol

This card is not the best, I was going for one thing and it turned into another, I guess sometimes our ideas get jumbled and it just comes out the way it is. I would have rather taken off the ribbon, but it was glued down, so I went with it...lol

Live life to the fullest....

Good day bloggers,

You probably can't see the words on this card, it says Live {life} to the fullest. Love that, not that I am a go getter and I don't really grab life by the horns, but it's a great saying none the less...lol

I have not used the watercolor technique in a while, but I do love it. You take your image color it with markers them spritz with water, it is really fun to do, This card is very soft in real life. I am still trying to find a good way to take pics. This new method is not working either...ugh..

Stamps: Rubber stampede, Studio G, button: is from the jar, pp:wild asparagus

Fluffles in The house!!

Ahh, I have always thought these little guys were so cute. My M's finally got new stamps. (after about 4 years) The have a few of the fluffles, and I just had to have at least one! lol

I stamped this full fluffle, and colored with prisma/baby oil combo! I used some paper from a k&co. Kit, and a prisma flower.

I have a huge mess to clean up. When I have a bit of creative juice, the desk turns to major disaster! I had to take a few and set up all the fall decorations today. Hello, It's the official first day of fall! Now, I am gonna clean the desk then head to work! wahhhhh

You rock!

This is actually the first Bella, I ever bought. I am lovin' her. I am using her and the new inkadinkado, rock clear stamps to make some rockin' cards for cfh. Of course some are for my own use.

I colored with prisma papers, and used stickles on the geetar(guitar) and the R in rock. I also used that cool felt star boarder from Kaiser craft.

Thanks for stopping in today.

One of those cards!

I don't know why, but I once in a blue moon make a card, that just is pretty to me. This is one of them. It's a su, stamp and the ribbon is from paper parachutes! I took the dragonfly and added a little outline and the glitter! the black in the background is some random rubons from basic grey!

I want to thank everyone who is playing along with the Gothic Arch this week, all the entries look fantastic. Try to go over there and check it out!

I love the Bella stamps, you all know this. And this card is one using the rock n roll Bella.

I put her on vellum, but the look is not what I thought. It's okay, not the best!

Today, is Friday whooo Hoooo. I am off today, and have much to do around the house! (as always)!

Hope to chat more tomorrow, have football tomorrow, so I am sure I'll have lots to talk about.

Ds#2 had a scrimmage on wed, made two touchdowns, of course I have missed every touchdown, so hopefully at the real game he'll do the same!

I will never forget!

I don't think that there is an American, that does not know exactly what they were doin' on September 11, 2001. I had several friends, patients who lived or worked in New York & I have found memories of New York City. I love New York City. I will never forget the first time I was there.

Today, I remember my son, and his reaction (he was in 5th grade). I will remember those who fought to keep us safe. I will remember the fears of everyone here on the east coast.

I will remember the lives lost, the families hurt.

May you take one moment today to reflect and remember those events and how they have changes some of us forever!

God Bless America!!!!

Tee Pee card.

I was able to make this card, because of the talented Ms. Sue, she is my buddy and also my stampin' up demo, she was my friend first! Then I found out she sold stamps, now that is cool!
This card was done with all SU supplies. I should have stamped that pumpkin the other way, but I am not changing it now.
This card was colored with SU markers and a blender pen.

Boo Crew!

I am not real big on scary stuff, I don't like scary movies, or spooky Halloween stuff. I don't care for witches or goblins, but sculls are kinda punk rock, and you know that is cool!!! lol

I found this stamp at a.c. Moore, for a dollar, yes it's a dollar studio G, card can you believe it? I of really limited my self on buying those dollar stamps, because I really never use them. This is a wood mounted stamp. The paper is from last year and I think it's K & Co. I colored with prisma pencils and baby oil. This was a sketch card and I can't remember from who. I am so sorry, I try to keep track and I just lost the link. If this is your sketch, let me know and I will link it!

Pink Gothic Arch!

****This is my second post today, scroll down to see my manly card****

This weeks challenge over at Gothic arches, is to create a pink arch. I had something in mind, but it did not go that way. I am happy with the colors of the dress. But, my pinks are not coming over well on the photo. (I am working on getting a light box to take photos!)

Supplies

PP: rusty pickle Stamp:impression obsession;

flower: Prima Button:? Used glimmer mist too!

Manly card!

I have as most of us do, a hard time with cards for guys. I think it's the lack of dark papers, and tough guy images. I found these rub-ons from basic grey that are bikes, tires, surfers. That is what I used on this card. I also used stamps from stamper anonymous.

Scrapbook cafe' saturday challenge!

Good Sunday bloggers,

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Yesterday the tropical storm Hanna came to town, leaving some high winds and a little bit of rain. I was thinking we needed a bit more, but it seems she went the grass and plants so, that is good.

Today after having the kids clean up there messy room and doing the laundry I was able to blurf a bit. I knew I had to sit down and do this weeks challenge for the scrapbook cafe'. It was to do a framed card. I used nesttabilities, stamps from SU, and a cuttlebug embossing folder to add some texture. What do you think? Did I do okay? I colored the image with ink & a water pen. I love this technique for giving a softer look. If you would like to check out the challenge you can see it on Pat's blog, southern breezes.

On to some good news. Pat,is opening a store you all know that, and I am happy to be one of her teachers! Okay, I am more than happy I am overjoyed!! I am so happy to work with/for her, she is a doll, and I wish her the best of luck. I'll let you know when that blog is open and running!

I am also the guest designer for November for the scrapbook cafe'. This is my first time having such an honor and I was freaking out! I was bouncing off the walls. My husband was so excited for me and It's nice to be able to show him I did something with all the stuff taking over our bedroom!!

The first week of school was smooth. The boys are all back into the swing of things. Kenny, is loving his senior year at the technical school, and has reunited with a lot of old friends. I feel good about our choice of putting him at this school full time. I pray to God, he does well.!

That is for now. See you tomorrow!!
