Hellllloooo Blogger friends!

***SCROLL DOWN IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE HERO HOP BLOG POST***

What a fantastic weekend, I can not get over the blog hop, I just can't believe that I've had 500 people visit my blog and more than 100 leave comments, to me that is beyond what my little brain can comprehend. I am so thankful for Sandy, she has become a great pal, I love getting her little phone calls and getting to chat about cfh, Christ, and all the other cool things that we have going on in our lives. It is just an incredible journey, and my part may be super uber tiny, but I'm blessed to be that super uber tiny part!!!
Now, to stamping! I went to visit my friend Sue, last weekend, we got to play and this is what she taught me this time. Let me tell you I can see myself doing this again very very soon,it's super easy and tons of fun!!
I'll have to do a tutorial for y'all so you can see it's just so cool! Have fun this week, try not to work to hard!

Cards for Heroes Blog hop!

Welcome to my blog and Happy Memorial day!

I know we have a lot of blogs to visit, I'll keep this as short as I can. First of all thank you for stopping in. I hope you'll come and visit me again.

Today is the cards for heroes blog hop, what is exactly a blog hop. Well, it's a fun way to get a message out by hopping from one blog to the next and seeing what is going on. It is more fun if you start from the beginning, so go to the site here and check it out!

Cards for heroes, is a non profit org that makes cards for our heroes to send home. What an awesome idea, I've been sending to them for a while, and have held little play dates to help make mass amounts of cards, that is a fun way to play and get together with your girl friends. I like making cards for our heroes for a few reasons. I love stamping, and I love the freedom we have here, and this is the way I can honor our service people for keeping us free.

Sandy & the gang at cards for heroes asked us to post a card in a red white and blue theme that we will be sending to cards for heroes. I was going to do a flag card, then a frog card and wound up with this. So, not what I had in mind..LOL (like that has never happened to you!!!)

So, today I used a adorable Bella stamp, she is so cute, love her. The pp is from su and has cherries on it, and that went with her little dress, so there ya have it, a cute red, white and blue birthday card. Hope you enjoy it and find some inspiration.

NOW YOU GOTTA HOP ON TO THE NEXT BLOG :

Where have I been???

Well, I have to be honest, my life is in need of a major overhaul. I am so behind in everything, my house is still not in tip top shape. (is it ever?)
I taught a beeswax class today, it was nice I had not been as organized as I had needed to be but, it was nice. I always like getting "students" to jump out of the box and just create rather than follow my lead. I think we did that today, and to everyones' surprise it turned out okay...LOL
I don't have pics, so take a peek at the shop blog to see them. I assume pat will have them up soon! (I bring the camera and forget as always...duh!)
I wanted to post some prom pics from my oldest sons prom. He graduates in month, and I have MAJOR stuff to do, I'll really be nuts for a while now!
Enjoy the pics, I have some really fun new stamps that are begging me to get inked!
