Faux sea glass!

I went to Sue's house this past weekend for some girl time. Mary, Sue & I get together at least once a month to stamp. This month we all had a project to share. Mary's was this faux sea glass. It was so simple and the results were fantastic! Very fun. I will be doing this one again. Mary is a great teacher, she was not feeling well but was able to show us this technique with out complaint.. THANKS MARY!!

Artistic Kitty ATC..

Happy New Year once again. I am trying to work on my atc for my trading group. I hope to be all caught up and have them in the mail tomorrow.

So, This is for the letter K. I wanted to do KIN but could not find the stamp I wanted to use...go figure. So, I went with a artistic kitty instead.

I did alcohol inks on plain white cs. Then I did the k with red distress ink with orange ep over it. gives it that shabby inky look irl. I also added white and dots and junk cause I felt like it..lol

Enjoy!!

Alcohol Inked card!!

I love Alcohol inks. I really love the colors the way they add a touch of art to a simple card. Some of you may not call this an artsy card. I do, I love the way the colors landed and the little butterfly added that little something. I used a three colors and three drops. I just blew on them to move them around. It's fun try it.

Yesterday, we went to see RAT TAT TOOOEEE.. oh what a fun movie, We enjoyed it. I was very tired at work. We had to see the 7:40 movie.. yikes. I think I will create a card using a house mouse stamp in honor of the movie...LOl
