I made this card for the challenge over at the scrapbook cafe'. This is my not so local scrapbook store. It's about 55-60 miles from me, but I do love it. Pat, from the store hosts a challenge every week. I don't really do them, because they are usually scrapbook layouts, but this week to my happy surprise it was to create a card with layers! WooHOo! I just got this set Olivia's birdies, from all that scraps! I am loving it. I used some layers in ways that I hope she will like. I used white/shimmer acrylic paint for the clouds. I also used diamonds for the leaves.(they were to small to cut out) I popped everything up with pop-dots. I used a pc of green card stock and deckle scissors to make "grass". I hope you enjoy this card, as much as I did makin' it!
This pic lets you see the "layers"
Color-Prisma pencils & baby oil

Really cute card!!! Love the layering! I'm curious about the Prisma pencils and baby oil?? Do you use baby oil in place of water?
Thanks for sharing your card, it is really cute. I especially love the little birdies. Like the rest, I am interested to know if you use baby oil with the prisma watercolor pencils.
