Cards for heroes fundraiser & a snow storm..

It's been a busy week here girls. I have a lot to share about some other things, but for now I'll keep it to some pics.

On Saturday, at the One Little Spark, We had a cards for heroes event, well lets just say there was one wonderful women Sharon, that showed up. She even missed a dentist apt to help us. She said she knew the troops needed the cards more. And I think that is just lovely.
So, Linda, Pat, Sharon and my self made and gathered 100 cards...woo hooo. (of course I filled in some, pat filled in some from the store and so did Angela, from the scrapbook cafe')
Another women, donated 10 gorgeous, photo cards, and Linda, donated some cash for shipping.
So, I'll be sending these goods to Fabre this week. Thank you Pat, Linda, Angela, Sharon & December!
Now, onto the snowstorm. Yesterday I ran to the grocery to grab some garbage bags. The store was packed, no buggies, no baskets, packed to the gill, I Thought geesh, why. There was chatter in the store about a big snow storm. Yeah, right they always say that and we NEVER get snow here in southern New Jersey.
Well, we got it. No work today ..wooo whoooo. no school today..whooo whooo, we have about 8" out side with 13" drifts. I am gonna dig my van out later, I hope I can it's in a huge snow drift.
The boys & I were out at 9am, for a long fun time, it's super uber windy here at the shore.

Have a great day!

Snow Day!! Remember that movie years ago? My kiddos were so taken with the idea of a day off for snow, never happens here in our area of So. Cal :)

Such a wonderful day of creating for the troops. Thanks for sharing the photos of your work. I'm not loving snow by now, ours is almost melted. Glad you got a little time off to enjoy the day.

Hey there, I really enjoyed reading your blog. It is nice to see people do things outside of their own life to lift others. I loved my visit. Deb
