Robot love

Hey bloggers,  I am happy to have something creative to show you.  It's been an awful week, but that God, He pulled us up and out.  We supposed to get another blizzard today, and I've been praying that we are able to stay home and stay warm.  I don't want to go the the shelter.
So, this cute card (not tooting own horn) was made with a digi image that you can find here.  I do like digi images, because I can get them NOW, and I like that.  I must say they are a little hard to color and you will have to find what works with you.  I seem to leave it out then heat set it.  That work, you need to be carefull with faces and light colors.

I used cosmo cricket pp, and I used some tim holts watch parts.  The I heart you is from the dollar bin a m's.

Where ever you are stay warm, and safe.

Winter hug!

If you know me at all you know I have a love for winter. Snow is one of my favorite times because I love the crisp look and feel of snow. Today, in my town we are to get a few inches of snow. For some that may be nothing but for us here in Jersey, it's a big deal. The ocean temps keep us a bit warmer and we rarely get snow, and when we do it's gone in hours. Darn, that salt!

So, with my mojo being thrusted back into my heart, I felt like a winter card would be the way to go.

I made this card for my little friend Katie, she will be 16 in may, and is one of my very good friends daughter. She was upset that she did not get a personal handmade Christmas card with her gift this year. So, this will be a winter card for her.

I'm happy people enjoy them, sometimes I wonder!

Enjoy you day, no matter if it's 110 or -19.

HAPPY BLOG HOPPING OWH !!!!!

Hello hoppers.....I am so glad you've stopped bye to say hi. If your here and wondering what I'm talking about go here and check out the beginning of the hop HERE!

I am here today to tell you I am so happy to be a small part of OWH, I met Sandy, a few years ago on 2pp's and quickly became her friend. She has so much passion for our heroes, that if we all had a tiny bit of that our world would be much better.

I do the cards here and there, I don't do hundreds, sometimes I don't do 10, but you know what it's not about how many you send it's about the heart you put into them. I know that if one card makes a wife, child, mother feel connected to their hero, well I've done my part. Won't you please take part in this mission to keep our heroes connected to their families?

Both my cards today are images used from Phindy, she's a brand new digi artist. She's also your next stop on the hop, you won't want to miss her blog she's giving away a free digi image for the hoppers. Thanks phindy, for supporting our heroes!

Well, that wraps it up I guess...YOUR NEXT STOP IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping in!

Miss You!

Howdy gang,
Today is another card from PHINDYSPLACE, I really enjoy her images. So, this image was printed and I noticed the lines were softer then some of her images, perfect for grey and light colors, so I went with it. I really think this is my fav image so far, there is something about it's softness that I really adore.
I used copics to color, and for the miss you I used a mushroom color, instead of black, and it looks really nice IRL. I used su paper, and the miss you is from amuse. I hope you take a min to go visit her shop. She has some neat images.

Happy Sunday!

Hi all,
I have a great card to share today, well I really like the way it turned out. I used another digistamp from PHINDYSPLACE. I really am enjoying her work. Please go visit her shop on etsy and buy a stamp, they are only about 3 bucks, and she could use the love!
I had a nice sat yesterday, My son & I went to see where the wild things are. I'll give my review on my next blog post.
I used su papers, colored with copics, now I have to tell you I do NOT like this animal, and it's because well, a few years ago, they would freak out if I walked outside my house, I mean like I seriously had to have my husband walk me to my van. They would jump up and down wag thier fluffy tails and ummm squeak, yes yelp squeak and charge at me. My husband thought it was so funny, I did not.
It was hard to color this little bugger, but healing in a way...ROFL!

New digi store!!

Hey all, ****the link is now fixed***

Today is MY birthday, wow I can't believe I am ___ years old. Where did the time go???
I have to work today, but I may get a cake so that will make it worth while...LOL
I hope your having a great day. I had some really nice comments from my facebook friends about my stamping. I do know that my stamping is for me and not to be judged by the world thanks for that reminder!
I found this cute little shop on etsy called PHINDY PLACE, go check her out and buy an image or two!
I did this card with one of her images, it's not hard to use digi stamps, you really need to heat set them on both sides of the paper if you are using copic markers.
I plan to buy another one and work with her images again, they are really fun. If you like pigs you will lover her site she has some really cool ones!
